Who knew my arms weighed 100 pounds . . . each? Who knew that carrying a pizza up the stairs after class would be a strength workout? Not me. 🙂
Yesterday, I went to my first sculpt class at my gym. Wow. Definitely gave our arms some love last night. And quads. And bums. BUT I loved the class, and I’m eager to return next week. The trainer is pretty rad–and a little goofy, which I appreciate. Makes me want to be a fitness instructor. Someday . . .
I’m feeling really good with all the cross training I’m doing, and it’s fun to feel stronger. I think I’ll keep it up. Unfortunately running has been brushed aside a little as of late. I’ve been able to get some quality runs in, but definitely not at the frequency I would like. Did I mention I have a 10k next week? And a half marathon the week after that? I’m just going to try not to die. I think that’s a good plan. 🙂

Have you ever been to a sculpt/pump class?
i should try a pump class…but man my upper bod is WEAK!!! I have just started going to gym and trying some circuit training. And a killer spin class!! I also do some deep water run class sometimes.
