Shine On, Sporty Girl Necklace Review and Giveaway!

Okay, I’ll be honest. I’m terrified about hosting my first giveaway . . . but here goes nothing! 🙂

Have you ever heard of Shine On, Sporty Girl? Well, you should, because they’re awesome. And they make great products. I first came across this Etsy shop in my perusing running items. I thought they made really cute necklaces, and I immediately wanted one–this one:

Isn’t it pretty? Not only does Shine On, Sporty Girl sell cute necklaces, but they also offer Christmas ornaments, medal racks, and more! I love the look of all their products, so I reached out to the shop owner, Kate, and she sent me a necklace to review. I LOVE it! It’s really cute and very high quality. The necklace comes on an adjustable chain and has super high quality charms. According to the shop description,

[Our] marathon running medal displays and triathlon medal display racks [are] crafted in steel. [Our] marathon running jewelry, runner charm necklaces, and triathlon jewelry [are] cast in lead-free pewter. Medal display racks for running and triathlon are so artful, and made of sturdy steel, then hand finished for a unique look.

Their customer service, quality of products, and shipping and handling is awesome. I ordered a Christmas ornament that I love, and I got it super fast. Yes, it didn’t have to travel very far to me, but it’s great that they ship so quickly after a customer order.

Hands down, Shine On, Sporty Girl makes fantastic products, and I recommend you go check out the store for yourself.

Now, because I love the store and their products, Kate and Team have generously offered this necklace to give away:

‘Tis the Season: Gift Ideas for Runners

Well, I’ve seen a few runner wish lists circulating–like those on Run with Jess and Active.com–so I thought I’d weigh in with some of the cool stuff I’ve seen/wouldn’t mind getting for Christmas. This is definitely not an all-inclusive list, but I hope it’ll get you started.

  • Runner necklace with a distance charm and your choice of crystal color (I like the green) from Kate’s (ShineOnSportyGirl) Etsy shop. Not only does the shop sell necklaces but they also have medal racks, Christmas ornaments, and other running-, cycling-, and triathlon-themed items. Check it out!

  • Run 13.1 shirt from 26.2 Apparel. It comes in a lot of different colors and is a great option for casual wear. 26.2 Apparel also offers a “26.2” option for the shirt. I know I would definitely love to get this for Christmas.

  • Runner cuff ring with 13.1 and/or Own it! (my motto) stamped on it from CharmedbyCindi‘s Etsy shop. You can customize the ring with whatever saying or distance you want that will fit. Cindi has other great jewelry in her store, including necklaces and cuff bracelets.

  • Bold Print Running Headband in Pink and Black from Paula’s Etsy shop (Petite Things by Paula). This is a great option for a running/workout headband, and it comes in many different colors and designs. I love all the patterns these bands come in, and they’re quite affordable.
